Building on the success of the Toronto Congress last July, we are gathering our existing and emerging Green Building Council leaders together with affiliates and allies from February 24 to 27, 2008 for a WorldGBC Congress in London, England.
The Congress will be part of the Ecobuild08 activities and will also be part of the celebration as the UK-GBC marks its first birthday!
Our goal for the Congress is to bring together the information and people to help our GBC’s and emerging GBC’s reach their goal of market transformation in their own countries. It is important to provide a forum for a candid sharing of ideas, successes and challenges in order to catalyze action and build momentum for all GBC’s.
At the Congress in February, we will provide an opportunity for conversation around shared issues for everyone, as well as an opportunity for member GBC's and emerging members to spend some specialized time to address their own unique development issues.
